Michael Mina, born Ashraf Mina in Cairo, Egypt, is one of America’s most celebrated chefs and restaurateurs. He is the founder of the MINA Group, which owns and operates more than thirty restaurants around the world. He has been honored with accolades including a Michelin star, the James Beard Foundation’s Who’s Who of Food & Beverage, GAYOT’s Restaurateur of the Year, Bon Appétit’s Chef of the Year, and more. Mina and his restaurants have been featured on the Food Network and the Today Show and in Bon Appétit, Food & Wine, TIME, Travel + Leisure, and beyond. He has been a featured guest chef at the James Beard House, served as a judge on Hell’s Kitchen and MasterChef, and has cooked for three U.S. presidents: Bill Clinton, George W. He has won the 2002 James Beard Foundation award for Best Chef in California and the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence and the AAA Four Diamond Award.

JoAnn Cianciulli, was a producer for four years on the Food Network show, Food 911, and she’s the collaborator on Tyler Florence’s Real Kitchen and The Lever House Cookbook.
