Jennifer Berne is the award-winning author of On a Beam of Light: A Story of Albert Einstein, and Manfish: A Story of Jacques Cousteau. Her books have been among the New York Times Editors’ Choice, Horn Book Best Non-Fiction Books, NPR’s Great Reads, and Eric Carle Museum’s “Best of the Best.” She worked at “The Factory” for Andy Warhol, and had a successful career as an advertising copywriter. She lives in upstate New York.

R.O. Blechman is an award-winning illustrator, graphic designer, and art director. He has been praised by the New York Times as “an artist in a class by himself” and by Maurice Sendak for his “immensely rich talent.” He lives in upstate New York.
