Marsha Heckman is the author of four books, including Bouquets. She has written how-to articles on crafts and cooking for numerous magazines and books. She lives in San Francisco.

Cathy Obiedo worked at the famous Organic Hair Care Center in Mill Valley, California, and in 1978 she opened her own salon, Cambiar, in San Francisco.
