Caroline Apovian, MD, is director of the Nutrition and Weight Management Center at the Boston University Medical Center and professor of Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine.

Her federal government positions include Nutrition Consultant to NASA and appointed member of the Panel on the Evaluation and Treatment of Overweight Adults. Dr. Apovian is also the recipient of major grants, ranging from the NIH to the Atkins Foundation.
