Paddy S. Welles, Ph.D., received her doctorate at Syracuse University. She has been granted numerous professional awards and is a member of many honorary and professional organizations. She has served as a child psychologist for the Prenatal/Early Infancy Project sponsored by the National Institute of Mental Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, as supervising teacher and therapist at the Hoffman International Institute, and as an educator and lecturer on numerous campuses here and abroad. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she practices marriage and family therapy near Elmira, New York, where she lives with her husband Tim.
